Vul's Veronaville: Round 7-6 (Regan Capp)

Previously at Regan Capp's: The family went on a little holiday to Three Lakes! Right before Cornwall's birthday into Elderhood... but alas, that would ultimately be his final day, as a violent encounter towards Kent Capp backfired and cost Cornwall his life...

All that remains of him, is an urn on a table, right next to his favourite easel.

Regan was devastated by it...

But alas, for her and her child Cunedagius life does go on...

So off to work she has to go...

Cunedagius manages to find things that help keep their head high.

They too, do take their time to overthink the family's loss and give it a place however.

Just as Regan returned from her work, Cunedagius got a phone call from Oberon asking for her.

Perfect distraction so that Cunedagius can hang out with their friend gang, which now includes Oscar Ottomas (stepson to Antonio Monty, boyfriend to Minola) and a VERY grabby Tina Traveller...

Tina immediately reveals she's in love with Cunedagius, although they themselves seem to be oblivious.

The teens hang out together...

... and soon Cunedagius decides they could go out downtown for the night!

Welcome to Sugar Cube Bowling!

Cunedagius isn't quite good and yeets their ball in the gutter at first...

... but after a few practise round they seem to get the hang of it, and even throw a spare!

Ariel.. also needs a bit of practise.

That is, she's not really into it - or she's trying to get away from the flu infection that took place there.

The flu immediately affects Cunedagius' bowling skills.

Maaaaybe take it easier a bit and hit the dance floor instead - just as Tina's mother appears on the scene?

Tina also seems to be a little under the weather - careful, or you'll infect Ariel's hot dogs with the flu virus too!

Tina invites Cunedagius in the photo booth.

While Cunedagius admires the silly pictures they took, Ariel's interactions with Oscar seems to have drawn the attention of Ariel's incellious big brother Hal!

He starts berating the teenage boy!

"I know what you were thinking you Monty perf! You were already thinking about undressing people!"

"Uh dude, what the heck? I'm just hanging out here with friends."

Then the backup came for Hal...

"Stop harassing my family, pimple-faced Monty scum!"

"Okay that's it, I'm not gonna let two randoes ruin my fun night out!"

Hal's incellious frustration at being unable to chase off Oscar is expressed by harassing Viola Dottore instead, who takes mental notes of this moment for her investigation.

Outside it was Juliette who found herself getting tackled.

Look and behold - the Monty backup has arrived to defend her family!

Cunedagius is quick to gather the gang together and end the outing.

It is time to go home before things escalate even further!

Back at home... Regan is playing chess.

Having dinner.

And has a call with Peter Capp, who may empathise with Regan because they both lost their partners recently.

She already went to bed by the time her loving child came home.

Cunedagius tried to sleep well, but alas, the mean flu keeps them awake for the night.

A new dawn breaks and Regan is up early, her bond with her nephew Tybalt deteriorating due to the recent scandal with Amy... Having recently lost her own husband in a similar way, Regan has lost a bit more empathy for relative members who went to jail... but something does wring in her stomach...

Oh well, perhaps it's Regan's concern about the newspaper boy jumping in the pool in the middle of winter?

That doesn't stop Regan from inviting in Juliette for breakfast together, so that they can talk about recent family events, just as Cunedagius, a bit tired and still under the weather, finds their way to the school bus.

"I saw Cunedagius downtown last night. Some of the Montys were lurking near them, obviously watching for the right evil opportunity to strike against them."

"Oh no, those evil... I hope they didn't do something bad to my child?"

"Nah, but Hal and I had to fight them off. Them being Samantha and her son Oscar."

"Thanks for informing me Juliette, and thanks for trying to keep Cunedagius safe."

The helicopter arrived however, prompting Regan to leave for her job.

At school, despite being the studious type with a flu, Cunedagius managed to be a successful football star player?

This popularity also helps them with making a new friend in the person of Orlando Butler.

Just like the newspaper boy in the morning, Orlando dives in the pool. Cunedagius decides to join, now that the slide is extra slippery from all the ice.

The two go back in after a while to enjoy some homemade sandwiches.

Regan, on her way back from work, notices the flower Cornwall left her from their last date together...

She watches Cunedagius and Orlando play for a while...

... and then, from the corner of her eye, notices Cornwall's urn.

The two teens play chess for the night...

But when Cunedagius tries to grab a snack, they notice that the fridge is empty.

Time to go for the leftovers instead...

Regan meanwhile has found a dog wandering outside.

She feels sorry for the poor pupper, and decides to adopt him!

Welcome to the family, Scout!

It's late however, time to go to bed.

A new dawn breaks at the house.

Regan got up a bit late...

... but not late enough to miss on the phone call from a Monty house going her way.

"No, Cunedagius is at school, Monty scum! Y'know, getting educated. Ever heard of that?"

After Regan leaves for her work...

... Scout has the house for himself entirely and decides to try out a new hobby!

Bullying the Butler!

He's having a blast figuring out the many methods you can use for this hobby.

Butler picks up the trash you've been eating?

Go dig a hole instead. It's not like he's got anything else to do at the moment and he's gonna get paid anyway!

That is, until Cunedagius gets home from school and has lunch. The butler can do the dishes while they do their homework.

And one the big human gets home...

... it's time for a W-A-L-K!

Or well, just across the street that is.

Where it's time...

... to buy Scout a new collar!

Someone looks handsome!

It's also time to get some groceries again.

Meanwhile in the clothes store...

... Regan's problem nephew Adrian gets in a fight with David Ottomas.

He'll survive, but his ego and reputation are just shattered at this point.

While Regan is out, Cunedagius takes it easy and plays chess - just as the aging notifications pop in.

Regan is quick to come back home and store the groceries...

... then she and Cunedagius grab some leftovers anyway.

Scout hadn't quite figured out that the butler left already, and is trying to bully the butler again, only to be met with Regan's stern scoldings.

After a call with Titania...

... Regan and Cunedagius go to bed for the day...

... and sleep in til the next morning.

Both mother and child go to their daily whereabouts when she finds herself in an off situation (isn't SHE the boss???)

Regan reacts the shy way and loses some hobby enthusiasm.

Cunedagius is back from school with a B report card... guess those times on the football team did leave less for studying...

Cunedagius plays a bit of chess...

... before having a sneaky call with Oscar real quick. Even though they're aware of the family feud being a thing, it doesn't make sense to them and they'd much rather spend their time studying and hanging with friends, rather than work hard to flex on the Montys...

Kinda like Uncle Kent...
