Dormies
Previously at the Dormies: Sharla, Dora, Katherine, Scot and Rebecka started their adventures at the VUL. With Sharla moved out to take over the Monty house, the other four remained. And with Dora having romantic ties with both Katherine and Bottom, and Katherine also having a romance with Ariel, drama may happen in the future...
We start things off with... Dora snapping her neck???
Being a neat Virgo living in a sloppy dorm, Scot decided that the best course of action would be to hire a maid. And then the notifications of almost everyone in the house having the flu roll in...
At least Dora got well again from.. watching medical dramas on TV?
While the other dormies are building their skills, Dora decides to give Chandler Creelman a call.
After befriending him...
... Dora gives Sandy Kosmokos a friendship call...
... and then invites over her professor.
After befriending him, Dora managed to become the Big Woman on Campus!
Katherine was having more difficulties making friends however.
A slapfest between her and Sophie Jalowitz...
... turned into a full-on brawl!
Katherine was able to fight Sophie off however.
That didn't stop more brawling from happening.
-- aah a streaker joins the scene. Can't get more Sims 2 college than THIS --
The Llama mascot won, chasing the mean cow off from the dormitory's premises.
After getting a call from another student, who she befriends...
... Dora is off to her class.
When she returns, she receives a phone call from her mother!
-- aaand somebody goes down again...
For some inexplicable reason, Carla herself shows up at the dorm.
Dora shows off her School Cheer to mum...
... before saying goodbye and watching a movie before bed.
Rebecka decides to go on a night-time jog.
The next morning...
... Dora, still on a quest to become fit, invests in a threadmill!
While Dora's exercising, the other Dormies have their own ways of spending the morning.
Sophie takes on Katherine for another fight!
This time Sophie comes out on top, but as she has no body skill points, Katherine walks away safely.
After that interruption, Dora is back on the threadmill, earning body skill points.. which she doesn't actually need for her degree.
In the end, Dora pulls it off and is finally FIT!
Dora isn't the only Sim who has her eyes set on the threadmill, Rebecka also wants to improve on her fitness, and she DOES need it for her degree...
While Dora is off to class...
... Rebecka invites over some of the other students for a SPORTS PARTY!
While chaos is reigning, Scot heads upstairs to work on his term paper.
Pizza is in!
Friendship is in!
And so are the fights!
Chris the dormie came out on top this time. Poor Sophie is really struggling to thrive in those fistfights...
Dora makes a moment to catch up a little with Sharla!
After which one of the professors manages to make a move on Sharla...
But, there's more Young Adult-Elder romance going on -- Rebecka wants to have her first woohoo, and Edward seems to be the most promising candidate!
It doesn't take long...
... before the two...
... start locking lips!
That moment may have also rescued Rebecka's party from being a total dud.
With all the partying done, it's time for everyone to go to bed...
... because the next day has exams for everyone!
The moment everyone returns from their exams, a tragedy happens...
One of the group's dormmates passes away on the sidewalk!
And it's not just anyone, it's Chloe Rossi! Benedick Monty's girlfriend!
Dora calls over Benedick, to inform him of the tragedy...
After Dora has a tummy bump...
Benedick is here, to see the tragic loss for himself...
Time to send Chloe to a proper resting place.
R.I.P. Chloe Rossi
Dora, who besides all that also failed for her exams, decides she needs to go on a run around the campus to clear her mind. Should she try one more time and hope to pass with her second attempt?
Scot however, who made the Dean's List, is very motivated to do anything to get the best grades and possibly graduate with honours!
After returning from her jog, Dora turns back into her fit shape.
After a small gesture with Katherine...
... she decides to call Campus - she's officially dropping out!
Dora ages up...
... leaves in a taxicab...
... and takes half of the money as her starting funds back in Veronaville.
We will have to play her final two days out to finish her season.
With Dora out, some of the callers will encounter no luck on this end of the phone line.
After another student goes down...
Our remaining gang decides to hit the Lounge!
They have arrived...
... and first they hit the pinball machines...
... before entering the dance floor!
On there tragedy strikes! Scot is struck once more by the dreaded Veronaville Flu, presumably the handiwork of Carla McCullough.
He finds himself unable to finish his chips in peace, as the crushing coughs keep claiming his attention!
Not only that, but Katherine finds herself robbed by the Unsavoury Charlatan, too!
Rebecka meanwhile took some time to add some sneaky soap to the entrance fountain.
After making it back home in one piece, our Dormies hit the hay.
A new day is upon the Dorm.
After witnessing Sophie sleeping in her morning pancakes...
... Rebecka invites her elderly potential playtoy over!
The two of them soon find themselves on a date!
Although Rebecka is a fairly smooth operator...
... she does make a few mistakes in her advances.
Aaaaand another dormie goes down!
Rebecka's efforts are strong enough that they eventually manage to overrule Edward's Hard To Get-play.
As the maid is leaving the dorms after cleanup, and while Scot has finished his term paper for his senior year, Rebecka manages to get into a makeout session with Edward.
It doesnt take long for them to end up...
... under the covers of the bed!
Bliss.
Katherine is a little less lucky however.
I added randomised traits to the other dormies and Marylena turns out to be a Kleptomaniac!
Katherine eventually comes to the realisation that her wallet is missing...
... and takes matters into her own hands!
She loses...
... but Katherine wants her money back above all, and goes for the rematch!
This time she IS victorious!
As Dorm live keeps going on...
... I notice two people gaining crushes on each other!
Motivated by this, Katherine drops on her knee...
... and pops the question!
Edward said yes!
Due to the gang's trip to the Lounge, they're scheduled for a night-time exam again, which means everyone has to go to bed early.
After a reasonable amount of rest, our dormies depart for their exams.
... the gang returns...
... and look and behold, everyone has graduated!
Next time we'll return to finish off Dora's Winter season, followed by these graduates growing up and returning to Veronaville. Then we'll finally play Tybalt, Kent and Phoebe at the prison, where they'll atone for their crimes.
