The Roselands
Previously at the Roseland Family: A lot of change happened - Minola entered her teens, Bianca got pregnant again and to accommodate for the growing household, the family ended the season by moving into a new place.
We start things off with the family moving in...
While Minola hits a book, Cid decides it's a good idea to do push-ups in front of her.
Little Porthos is off to work...
... which motivates Minola to grab a newspaper too, to see if something of her dreams is in there... But alas.
Time to hit the school benches instead...
... while the parents stay at home eating omelettes.
Hello there Antonio!
Having the company and a good game of chess makes time fly, and soon enough Minola is back with perfect grades!
She celebrates this by calling up Stuart...
... and meeting up with him at the art gallery.
Minola does try to be a bit discreet with their activities - imagine Thomas or Oscar walking in on them...
Though the sparks are there...
... Stuart isn't fully receptive to Minola's moves.
In the end the date is brief, but sweet.
On her way back home Minola spots a matchmaker and buys a love potion for potential future encounters!
Back at home it's Hortensio and Porthos coming home...
... just at the moment Cyd earns himself a body skill point.
A bit later Minola returns home too - at the same time as Oscar Ottomas walking by, ready to spread his flu towards her!
Cyd takes advantage of the situation to pick some money off of Oscar. Minola did not like that.
Bianca has different plans however.
She's gathering some family and friends for Hortensio's birthday party!
.... aaaand we got a fight.
Kendra came out on top - I'm getting a little worried that these two are the next Kent and Cornwall.
Anyways, let's blow out the cand---
Oh. Of course.
There's too much happening at once!!!
I tried using my aspiration calculator and... Hortensio is just a Family kind of person.
Well at least we got Minola to be the exciting one.
After dealing up with the growing peers of Hortensio's...
... we FINALLY get to name the little baby boy, Biondello.
As if things weren't crowded enough already.
Minola gets a coughing fit - perfect thing to do at a crowded party!
Thank goodness the spreader event is OVER.
Now it's time to send everyone to bed, no matter what mood they're in, especially you Minola, to sleep off that fl-.
After some quality time with Biondello...
... it's time for Bianca to sleep in, too.

Congrats on getting fit, Cyd!
After the kids go to school...
... it's time to take care of the bills.
Oh and Cyd got sick AGAIN.
No excuse to not take care of the baby.
After a marble mishap at school...
... the teens return from school, each of them...
... taking home a classmate!
Let's all bundle up in the playground lair!
While Cyd earns another skill point in his fitness lair...

Now it's time for Cyd to be a bad boi!

I do love how involved Carla is with the Monty family.
Minola meanwhile has made friends with Carlo...
... and immediately makes a move on him.
Gotta give it to them, they're 3-bolters.
While Biondello becomes eligible to enter his toddling years, the teens go and have dinner together!
I also rolled Hortensio's gender preference... he's straight.
THIS birthday will be much chiller than yesterday's.
Just a cake, some confetti and DONE.
Let's start off with the potty training...
... while Minola confiscates the easel for herself.
Cyd got back from work with a juicy promotion!
He's still eager to practise his thieving skills on poor Carlo Dottore.
I also forgot to roll the traits for the birthday boys...
Biondello likes Orange and is a clutz who likes the cold.
... while Hortensio got the Monty genes kicking in, giving him solid cooking skills.
After giving Hortensio's bedroom a small makeover...
... we return to Minola, gaining creativity skill points.
She follows this with another search for her dream job, but no such luck.
Cyd has a coughing fit on the Smartmilk machine! I do hope this doesn't affect Biondello in any negative way...
Time to do potty...
... and then teach Biondello to walk! And he's almost there already!
After the teens are off to school...
I.. got some weird technical issue with Biondello. Suddenly his leaning to walk bar started going backwards - essentially emptying itself...
I tried different things to try and fix it...
... but to no avail. So in the end I just decided to use mod objects to teach the little boy how to walk, to fix things.
If anyone knows how to fix bugs like that, please comment.
One breakfast later...
... and Cyd is healthy again!
Or no, not really.
While he's bathing his son...
... his other children come back from school!
At least the potty training isn't affected by the bug.
With Hortensio in his teens he can now officially join the MOT Squad.
Would that make it the MOTH Squad?
With the MOTH Squad ready, it's time to go Downtown together!
First of all we need to do a bit of shopping for Hortensio!
And turquoise it is!
While Tina and Minola exchange the latest stories, Oscar gets jumpscared by a statue!
Considering she's friends with both Hortensio and Tina, Calista gets added to the squad as well.
Does that make the MOTCH Squad? Huh.
Not much time to overthink that, it is none other than the Capps who arrive in the taxicab, and the Monty-related MOTCH Squad must flee the scene to save their hides!
The Squad hits their regular hangout spot at Speedy's...
... where they play Billiards together...
... before hanging out in the restaurant area!
But oh no, Tina is still suffering...
... from her bad streak of the Hamster flu!
That does not stop her from jamming out to the jukebox with the rest of the Squad.
... which alas, does lead to Minola getting infected herself!
This is the cue to end the outing at once...
... and despite the ending, Minola did gain some charisma from the ordeal!
Back at home, it's Cyd's turn to take care of Biondello.
Bianca earns a skill point which she needs for a promotion - and she has the WANT for it!
After washing the kid and getting healthy again WITHOUT getting sick again immediately after...
... Cyd brings Biondello to bed.
Time to deal with the older kids again.
Or well, Hortensio is just busy filling up the phone bill...
... while Biondello is awake again already, ready to learn how to talk.
And just when he makes friends with his classmate...

Poor Minola got a coughing fit from all the singing in the cold.
It doesn't stop her from finding a job as a Slacker however!

A new dawn has arrived!
Time to send the teens away again...
... which gives Bianca the opportunity to practise her singing again! Now she's eligible for a promotion!
Cyd meanwhile started pumping iron again, earning himself some body skill.
Bills.
Toddler time.

... at school.
Time to break the routine a bit...
... by going to the park...
... to go... uh, on a robbing spree?
Hermia doesn't seem to be falling for it. What a queen!
Demi Love... is more gullible.

... smooth talks!
Not Caryl though.
Then a fight broke out - at least Jihoon's attacker has no body skill, so he's safe.
Mrs Crumplebottom also seems to have figured out Cyd's tactics.
At least her Crumplebottomy mannerisms make it hard for her to be taken too serious.

... before high tailing out of there.
Hopefully some ghosts will haunt at the graveyard!

After Oberon transforms...

At least April Hutchins falls for the scam.
After getting rejected once more...
Cyd finds one more victim...
... before sneaking to the graveyard for ghosties.
No luck, alas. Time to return home after a long day, making over §1000! Kaching!
Back from school...
... then it's off to work with Minola, to make some honest money.
This bonus can come in handy.
Havign some quiet around the house, Bianca has the time to try and teach Biondello a nursery rhyme.
When suddenly, Minola is caddying for none other than the one and only Malcolm Landgraab!
She nonchalantly expresses her inexperience with the situation, when sheer luck nets her a §50 bonus!
Calista calls.
Hortensio answers...
... and after the conversation he tries to call Sandy. But nope.
Then came the wave of calls for people who weren't available.
pleh.
Once it was over, Hortensio started to cook.
Minola got promoted...
... just as Hortensio taste tests his very first grown up meal.
Minola got an invitation to the next Squad meeting... but Cyd's got the car with him.
It does mean that Stuart should be available again though.
After a quick entrance...
... two to start a love session in the bedroom.
The two fall in love, fulfilling a powerful want for Minola...
... but when they get on the couch, Cyd walks in...
"Hi kids!"
"Dad! Out!"
The two continue their makeout session...
... before the date is ended.
Cyd then did one final job with Stuart before he could head home.
Minola in the meanwhile finishes her first painting.
She then hits the books while Bianca cooks the family spaghetti.
Cyd teaches Biondello the nursery song...
... Minola earns a skill point...
... and Bianca has taken to the easel herself, just as the season goes to Spring, marking the end of the round.
Next time we'll be catching up with Adrian Lewis, who now has to raise toddler Archer without Kent by his side... We'll find out how that goes next time!
