Dottore Family
Previously at the Dottore Family: Viola Dottore, the lost sister of the late Olivia Dottore-Monty, moved in with her two children Carlo and Nicoletta with one goal: finding out who is responsible for her sister and parents' late demise.
After a stay in the slophouse, the Dottores have gathered enough funds to purchase themselves a house of their own!
The place deserves a small tour: A lane from the street leads to a small residence atop a small hill, with at one side an open patio free for summer activities.
Entering the indoors, you first encounter a kitchen nook with behind it a small nook for a living area. The master bedroom's to the right, with a little bathroom attached to it. Back near the front door is aa staircase leading...
... upstairs, where two bedrooms and another bathroom await.
Time to play them-- aaand Viola's got the Veronaville Flu already. Welp.
This doesn't deter Nicoletta from playing Rock Paper Scissors with her mother...
... just before the school bus comes to pick her and Carlo up.
With Viola home alone she has all the time to read on some skill books... and choose some aspiration benefits in the process as well.
Speaking of those, I might as well choose some for Carlo.
After gaining the skill point, Viola makes her very first meal in her new kitchen.
When Carlo returns from school, not only does he bring back an A, he also brings in a noticeable classmate of his.
"Hi I'm Joy Despret and you're

While Carlo and Joy hang out together upstairs, Nicoletta returns home too.
She also achieved grades that make their mamma proud!
The afternoon passes by, and soon Joy and Carlo find themselves being friends, while Viola officially overcomes the flu.
Time to celebrate by going on a trip Downtown with the other Montys!
Why not go all big and hang out at the LuLu Lounge?
The group has arrived...
... among the people, Viola notices a face she learned about during her research, but never quite had the pleasure to personally converse with: current Monty Family head Romeo!
Meanwhile his Uncle Antonio tried out the electro sphere, with.. disastrous results...
Even worse -- when Viola goes to talk to him, she gets infected with the flu AGAIN.
Viola doesn't let it distract her from trying the electro sphere herself.
... it leads to a predictable result...
... after that stumble, Viola decides to head for a more steady dance floor. There she suddenly walks into her good friend Brenda!
After hanging out a bit there and enjoying the beats, we find Viola at the bar...
... where she suddenly spots a peculiarly dressed individual...
Violas detective senses sniff out that it is none other than Phoebe Barakat, the cheerleader who got sentenced to jail for murder last season!
And not only her, she also brought two other inmates with her!
Viola's quick action however helps out to bring the escaped prisoners back to justice!
After that unusual circumstance the outing is brought to an end.
Viola calls for a taxicab to take her back home...
... and now we're playing Carlo and Nicoletta's side of the evening.
That is... not too much.
The two make their homework, jump some rope...
... get washed, learn some skills...
... before eventually going to bed.
Viola then arrives, ready for some late spaghetti and then some well-needed rest.
A new day arrives.
While Nicoletta earns a skill point from the rope jumping...
... Carlo decides to tease a cute Fox yipping around -- that's mean -_-
Off to school with both of you!
Which gives Viola plenty of time to.. burn her breakfast?
The smoke triggers a coughing fit.
Brenda then calls - but considering Viola got hit with the flu again I think it might not be the bestest idea to go Downtown.
Viola's bath gets interrupted by -- ahem -- bladder issues.
Sadly, despite her flu having an impact on her, Viola has to go to work to make money for the family as she sadly has no paid leave left...
Carlo comes back to a house by his lonesome - but at least he got an A+ and §100 to the household funds.
After dealing with a call...
... Carlo has himself a few burgers!
Then Nicoletta comes home, also with an A.
Carlo trains with the jump rope...
... calls a bit with friends...
... and soon he fulfills a power want to have 5 best friends!
Then Viola comes home with some much-needed household funds, Nicoletta eager to give her mamma a hug!
Time to put the money to good use by paying those bills...
While Carlo is making friends with Minola Monty, Tina Traveller drops by, interested to hang out with Carlo.
Viola, eager for a bath, got interrupted again, this time by a coughing fit. I hope she gets to heal from her flu sooner, what if she'd die, leave her kids orphaned AND never get to bring her sister's killer to justice?
Tina is quick to say his goodbyes to Carlo, but does so in an... intimate way?
While Viola hits the books to hopefully get closer to one more promotion required for her work...
... Carlo practices his speech in front of a mirror. Which kinda fits with his dream to become a top athlete.
Time to sleep after a long day...
A new dawn breaks.
This time Carlo takes it upon him to make everyone cereal for breakfast.
Time to eat with the entire family as the school bus is about to approach.
Viola has her way with the crossword puzzle in the newspaper...
... before she is off for her shift at work, too.
Carlo comes home from school.
He goes out on a jog, and he's back just in time to greet Nicoletta's perfect grades with a plate of leftover spaghetti.
Nicoletta celebrates her achievements with a jumping party on the couch.
While the afternoon passes by, Nicoletta is informed of her upcoming birthday!
Viola then found herself home with a promotion!
Because her new work shift is still going on, she immediately heads back to work to secure herself another paycheck. More money is a must in this financial situation.
Nicoletta and Carlo spend their time bonding as siblings...
... before Carlo decides to go sleep early, and Nicoletta then has the bright idea to skip rope in the same room.
The moment said physical performance gives Nicoletta a skill point for body, Viola comes back home from her second shift.
She didn't just bring in some extra cash, she also got a new table set so that the Dottores no longer have to eat on the couch.
Viola makes herself a fresh salad to try out the fruits of her hard labour.
After calling up Romeo to catch up a little...
... Viola also uses the newly plumbed bathroom, next to her own bedroom.
Good night hard worker Viola.
After a surprise visit from an adorable penguin...
... it's once again morning at the Dottore household.
After catching up on some late homework...
... Nicoletta joins the family at the new eating nook!
After the kids leave for school once more this season...
... Viola takes care of the bills once again...
... before learning an interesting and useful thing or two about mechanics.
Due to Viola's new hours, she now has some time to spend at home with Carlo again before going off to work.
Carlo and his classmate hang out together while Viola, in her undies, heals from the flu for the second time this season.
Sorry Titania, Viola's off to work now.
Carlo makes a new friend...
... who then decides to make a mess in the living room with all the books.
Carlo in the meanwhile was too busy checking his body out in the mirror.

With Viola back at home...
... we can finally get through Nicoletta's birthday!

Using my Aspiration Calculator, Nicoletta seems to be on her way to become a Pleasure Sim, which kinda surprised me. Oh well, let's roll with it.
She also rolled the Brooding trait.
After a feast of cake...

... and we zoom to the next morning, when Spring has hit the Dottore family - telling us to leave them be til the next round.
Viola has made some solid progress in her career.. but now she still needs to make a couple breakthroughs in the case of Olivia Monty.. will the new year make her progress blossom?
