Antonio Monty
Previously at Antonio Monty's: After Sharla and Antonio aged up, it was time for Oscar and Charlotte to explore the world and embrace their teenhoods! The two of them didn't just find friendships Downtown, they also found love for the first time in their young lives...
After their late night outings last weekend however, we start off with Thomas, Oscar and Charlotte jumping on the bus to go back to school...
This does give Samantha and Antonio some time for themselves.
Well, alone...
Samantha loves to keep her children close.
While Antonio curls up on the couch with a good book about Fire Safety...
... David suddenly offers CHRIS(?!) a job in Architecture???
Well, why not I guess.
1 second later...
Oh well.
With the school bus comes a whole pack of classmates who want to chill.
Oscar has his mind set on one person specifically, though.
While Minola is eager to see Oscar back, Charlotte has finished her Brick.
It doesn't take long before the date warms up...
One hot tub makeout session later...
... and Oscar pops the question to Minola!
Despite the negative memory, Minola still considers the date to be the stuff of dreams!
Time to go back home tho...
... while the teens back there are either hanging out, or crafting bricks...
... Samantha goes and grabs the phone to throw a New Year's party!
Back in the hot tub, it's time for the aging notifications!
Thomas, who is ready for college, has the want to go to university!
The party guests come in!
And with them, come two familiar faces to Antonio Monty...
Welcome back, Beatrice and Benedick!
Beatrice has rolled an inexplicable interest in Architecture herself, and she's lucky - there's an opening for her!
After Benedick gives Thomas a taste test of the college life with the cheer...
... it's time for the latter to blow out the birthday candles...
Time to join the uni life!
As Thomas departs....
... Father Time arrives, hoping to encounter a successful New Year's Bash for once this year.
After Benedick finds himself a job at the Monty restaurant...
... he and Chloe have a moment together.
... uh..
Hello?
Father Time?
... welp. At least the guests had a blast.
While cleaning up the books the guests pulled from the bookcase, I noticed...
... someone invisible making use of the little chamber...
Hmm...
This person IS married!
(A click with the SimBlender revealed to me it was Keith Zuimelhof)
While Beatrice and Benedick worked on their skills...
... Kendra Monty came by, and had a mean surprise intended for Benedick.
Unaware of that, Benedick kept on painting and is now the pround owner of his first Creativity skill point.
Not even the noises of other people waking up distracted Benedick, and soon he brings his score up to two.
It was at that point that Benedick finally goes to sleep, just as Beatrice steps in the carpool for her first day at the construction factory.
With the younger twins off to school...
... Antonio and Samantha once again have the day to themselves.
After Antonio finishes his book about Fire Prevention...
... he and Samantha have some private time together.
Oh hi again Oscar.
... Welp, at least I tried to roleplay that one a little.
While Samantha and Antonio continue their idea of a romantic moment together with some Capp bashing...
The teens return from school, just as Benedick's carpool arrived.
The old folks' date continued with a game of chess, where Samantha earns a skill point for logic... Which means she is FINALLY eligible for a promotion, after spending a grand majority of her life in Veronaville living off of paid leave!
Welcome back Beatrice!
Now get handy and fix the bathtub please!
"But I'm just a cement mixer!"
The date ends...
The evening is upon the Monty house...
... and Charlotte is craving to see her boy Quince!
The two lovers meet...
... and they officially fall in love!
Welcome back home Benedick!
Our lovers couldn't stay together for long, and soon...
... we find everyone heading back to bed for a good night's rest.
A new dawn breaks.
Beatrice is immediately woken up by Charlotte making more toys... at least she earned the Bronze badge in the process!
Benedick got some time to kill before work and gives Chloe a call.
He takes her to the newly renovated H&M Downtown to help him with shopping advise.
But first he has to give that cute wittle penwin a wittle pat on da hed uwu.
After that wlittle distraction, Chloe directs Benedick to the red clothes rack.
Guess that may be his outfit theme...
After paying the clothes...
... it's time to continue some love time together, while Adrian Capp is making a scene once again.
The date comes to an end however, due to Benedick's upcoming work schedule...
... and he heads home.
There, in the meanwhile, the school day begins for the teens.
While Antonio deals with truant-playing teens and Kidztube Channel advertisers...
... Beatrice maxes out all of her cooking knowledge!
The daily activities go by...
Maxx is starting to show his age.
Then the teens return with a couple of friends.
While Benedick is entering his carpool, Chloe shows up with a little gift for him.
In the meanwhile one of the teen friends is not impressed with Antonio, causing an argument to start.
Poor Oscar had to witness all that happen.
Samantha got back home, with a promotion!!
At last! Woop woop!
Not just that, Beatrice reached the top of her enthusiasm for the culinary arts and Charlotte finished her very first clown in a box!
With all those achievements going on, Antonio decided to get started on the final part of his Shang Simla triptych!
Oscar then asked his classmate out on a simple, quick date.
She said yes, but during the date, Oscar bursts out in a coughing fit! Thec young man's got himself a flu!
And not just that, Beatrice opens the fridge and finds out that the house ran out of groceries for the day!
A problem that needs instant fixing!
Beatrice is quick to grab some groceries, yet someone seems to be watching her...
... the stranger introduces herself as Viola Dottore. Beatrice, being familiar with that name, decides she seems trustworthy enough to introduce herself to.
A bit intrigued by that interaction, Beatrice leaves homebound.
Back there it's revealed that Samantha got caught by her sons' flu, too!
While Charlotte is meeting again with Quince, Oscar is once again near the source of the disease - some nasty crawly bugs that must've gotten there after Kendra kicked the garbage can!
Quince transforms into his Werewolf form...
... while Oscar grabs the phone to invite his friend group for an outing.
We go Downtown to HM...
... where we meet up with Minola Roseland and Tina Traveller!
Minola finds the karaoke machine upstairs!
She and Oscar sing a lovely duet together...
... which gets rudely interrupted by Oscar's own flu-full coughing fit!
Might be for the best to end the outing here and there - it's also getting late and there's school tomorrow oh my.
Back at home, we find Benedick with his first promotion at the family restaurant!
He also finds a little love letter left in the mail for him!
Meanwhile, Antonio completes his latest painting!
It baaarely fits, but yes, we now have a complete triptych of the Shang Simlan sunset!
With Antonio to bed, his children stay up a little longer to brush up their skills. Beatrice manages to earn a skill point for Body in the process of getting fit again...
... and, just after Oscar got home and bed, Benedick earns himself that skill point for Cooking.
The last winter morning is upon the house.
And just as Beatrice gets back to work, Samantha is officially declared healthy again!
The school bus arrives yet again for the teens...
Now Benedick has joined his dad and stepmother for their breakfast routine.
But what's this? Samantha gained a couple pounds from that morning meal!
The old folks do some chores, and then the teens are already back from school, and Charlotte is very proud of her hard work!
Then Beatrice comes home, finally out of the cement factory and into the brick field!
She spots Oscar doing some jump rope exercises...
... and then comes up with a modest, yet utmost brilliant scheme!
Beatrice jumps in the community pool in an effort to get her body to be fit!
The treacherous Regan Capp tries to stop Beatrice's masterful plan, but the jump in the pool proves to be too much of a leap of faith for the cowardly Capp.
Some other distractions lie on the road ahead however, such as pop up subscriptions...
... and a general aura of anger and aggression.
Once again notorious townie Carmen Patch finds herself in a fight, and this time she's on the losing end of a buttkicking session. I had to cheat to get in the SimBlender to check on Carmen's statistics.
Unsatisfied with the outcome, Carmen takes on Edward Mellon for a rematch.
This time she is more successful (and I forgot to screengrab the roll outcome waah)
While all that is happening, Kent Lewis draws the attention to himself by transforming into a Werewolf!
A wild Cornwall Capp is nearby and immediately attacks poor Kent!
Poor Kent didn't enjoy that...
... so he goes for a rematch!
... and immediately loses again...
Beatrice has decided to have a little break to grab some foot. If only her tablemate had some better manners... That cook seems to be sharpening her trusty ol' spatula...
Edward takes on Carmen for another rematch!
He loses, however... But at least Beatrice encountered her fiancé Amar in the background!
Their romantic moment together was tragically cut short by Cornwall pouncing Kent once again!
Big mistake of Cornwall.
A tragic big mistake...
Realising he is gravely injured, Cornwall limps past Beatrice trying to have a shower, in an attempt to make it back home to his wife and child...
He passed out and away on the side of the road...
R.I.P. Cornwall Capp
As a consequence of this tragedy, Kent will spend his winter inside a jail cell...
The news presumably did spread fast, as not only did Kent's best friend Bianca Roseland appear at the scene of the crime...
... the mysterious Viola Dottore was quick to arrive too, just as Beatrice was about to leave.
Several witnesses can vouch for Beatrice's innocence, after all...
Back home, Charlotte learns the first bits and pieces of the culinary arts while making sandwiches for everyone.
It is not Benedick however, who will enjoy them - his carpool has arrived to take him back to the family restaurant for his shift.
Instead it's Chris and David who happen to walk by - and an eager Samantha is ready to welcome her son and daughter-in-law with open arms!
Everyone is enjoying the sandwiches, just as the notifications show up that inform us, that college awaits the twins, if they desire... a want which neither Oscar nor Charlotte has rolled yet.
Benedick, in the meanwhile, is tormented on his shift by the appearance of one foul Mimi Landgrabb! What to do, what to do...
Teach her a lesson, that is! Landgrabbs are made of cloth similar to Capps after all, so a similar treatment is warranted! And it pays off, and keeps the hoodlums at bay from the Monty Restaurant for good...
Oscar then receives a phone! It seems that one Cunedagius Capp is interested in meeting up with Oscar Downtown!
Considering that Cunedagius' father is about to be murdered in the pool by Kent it may not be the best idea to go Downtown with them, also because of the limitations of the Community Time mod...
It is interesting though that Cunedagius does not seem to be too strict with their beliefs in the Capp-Monty divide.
Samantha also realises she hasn't spoken with her good old friend Carla Zuimelhof in a long while - about time for them to meet up at home!
Benedick arrives back home with a promotion for his exceptional and creative work ethic today!
Followed an hour later is Antonio, while Carla and Samantha are exchanging old stories of their lives.
While Benedick keeps his nose stuck in another novel, his parents leave for their bed.
Beatrice comes back home to show off her new fit body, while Benedick works on the cooking in the background.
With Spring coming in Beatrice decides it may be a good idea to begin a garden for the family.
The night would prove to have more irregular moments - for Minola arrives, with a complete fish tank for the family to enjoy.
After Benedick finally goes to sleep for the night...
... Oscar and Charlotte get up early, disturbed by the memory of the bugs still crawling around, and go outside on a mission to eliminate them all.
A new morning breaks, but this time it's the blossomed air of the Spring introducing the Montys to this new fine day, which is our cue to leave them for the season.
Next time we'll be playing Regan and Cunedagius Capp, who now have to deal with the loss of their beloved husband and father. How will they place this loss and mourn their grief?
To be continued
