Round 7
Once again a new season begins in Fair Veronaville, and with that a few new changes come.
First of all, I added both the Community Time mod AND the Community Skilling mod to my game.
Previously, when a Sim would go out to a community lot for 5 hours and then return, the time at their return would be the same as when they left.
With Community Time installed, Sims will actually stay away from home for the duration their community lot visit was.
I also added a new community lot to the Monty side of the town! Not sure if we'll visit it this round however, for today we'll be catching up with...
Capp Manor
Previously at Capp Manor: Juliette married Puck Summerdream, who has now joined the Capp legacy! After a honewmoon they're now expecting their first baby who may be the next heiress of the Capp dynasty. If only her cousins also living at the manor were doing better... It's not gonna be easy fighting the Montys with Hal being an awkward incel, Ariel being an unreliable artist, Adrian being the runt of the litter, and Desdemona being DEAD.
We start off where we left off, with Juliette in the morning - and this time we have no list of traits to fill in on, so we can immediately get into the game.
Time to finish that toy brick...
... followed by a family breakfast of pancakes.
Puck and the teens need to fulfill their professional duties and just as they left, a visitor appears...
Apparently Nora had plans to steal the newspaper due to her grudge towards Hal's incellous behaviour. Juliette managed to thwart this plot however...
... and then lets Nora in anyways. Best keep her and Hal away from each other.
While Hal got a logic skill point, Juliette's hard work at the toy table made her able to make more advanced toys - good for her incoming baby!
Hal decides to check in on the fridge, to make sure he's still got enough items for some cooking for an upcoming event...
His younger siblings just got home from school. Ariel's doing fairly well at least but Adrian's.. a handful.
Juliette made some calls for the event - that's right, it's New Year's Bash season once again!
While Adrian's feelings of being the family letdown get to him again...
... Ariel enjoys the letter she finds in the mail!
Sorry Adrian no time for homework, we need to tidy up the garden a bit for the family party tonight.
And sheesh, stop complaining about your aspiration bar!
Maybe you should channel Puck more, he just got a promotion!
And then he got fit after going out for a job, too!
Ariel, meanwhile, got into the arts again, when she reaches eligibility to go to college!
Time for the party!
And look, some of the dead Capp Ancestors got out to party, too!

I forgot to take out the mod that makes ghost scares tank needs badly...
Hal saw the heavily pregnant Juliette pass by and instinctively grabbed his flour sack to coddle like a baby.
*coos aggressively*
The ghosts claim a first victim! Poor Ariel!
...
At least she's still alive, but boy does she need to go sleep right now.
Hal has had enough from having Nora over all day and decides to strike!
Hal loses.
He's lucky Nora has no body skill.
Consort luckily decided to go float outside, hopefully he won't bother the other guests from there.
While Ariel went to bed... Cornwall decided to hog HER easel? Huh...
... oh dear, this party is NOT going to end well, is it?
Evne Father Time got scared by a ghost!
He saw the cops arrive and decided this party wasn't worth it.
A snoozer indeed.
Poor Juliette.
After making sure the guests all got out well and fine...
... the Capps healed their wounds from this event.
Puck: "I'm not a Winter, I'm a Taurus!"
Time to go to bed.
... but not for long!
A new generation of Capps is about to be born!
It's a girl! And she's named Desdemona, after the lost cousin!
Puck is happy to be a father :D
Juliette immediately feeds young Desdemona the bottle.
With the ghosts flying off to their graves...
... Ariel decides to call college for the scholarship applications, where her creative genius gets recognised...
... and then goes off to college.
What an interesting sight to depart from - both her mandatory college fee statue, and some knocked over trash.
Puck decides to take care of the latter, as the taxicab takes off.
Having given birth, Juliette is once more able to go to her work at the beloved family business.
With Puck and Adrian also away for the day...
... it's just Hal who has to take care of the child named after his sister.
Juliette discovers a secret poker ring in the business.
She decides to tag along with it and it pays off!
She even gets a promotion for her efforts!
Plenty of time to work on a clown in a box!
Adrian's home next...
... and is outright trampling his report card.
While Juliette finishes the clown box for little Desdemona...
... Adrian mourns his grades even more.
He decides to go off on an adventure of his own at the Veronaville market to get his mind off his situation at home to relax a little!
There he immediately walks in an unfriendly face - he picks up beef with David Ottomas.
This does not bode well for his reputation in town.
He decides to vent his inner frustrations on this reputation on Trisha Traveller's face, because she just happened to be nearby.
After giving David Ottomas another dirty look...
... he decides to tag along to the cemetery.
There Romeo Monty notices Kendra McCarthy making a move on Ralph Enriquez - and considering Romeo was putting serious consideration into marrying her.. it didn't go well.
Cornwall Capp also manages to pick a fight with Carla McCullough.
Adrian visits his father Albany's grave... if only he was still around, maybe he could've supported him, given him advice on how to improve his life...
But alas, the Capp imprinted way to improve his standing within the family would be to beat up the Montys! And what better target, than the current head of the family himself?
Well, perhaps a target who is not capable of kicking your ass instead.
Adrian then noticed his mother. Approaching her for some parental love, she recoiled.
Instead of being there for her youngest child for once, Goneril had another bone to pick with her oldest child instead.
Adrian left home.
Because of the Community Time Project, we won't be seeing him for a couple in-game hours.
"Oh hi Uncle Cornwall! Yeah she should be available."
Puck got home right after that - with another promotion in his pocket, taking over Juliette's old job.
He celebrated it by hanging out with Desdemona!
And guess what? It's time for her birthday!
Puck blows out the candles...
And then Puck throws Desdemona into toddlerhood!
What an *ahem* enlightening experience for her!
Theeere she is.
She looks just like Puck!
She also got Pink as her favourite colour! (I forgot to roll for her traits here, but don't worry, later on this round I added those)
She needed to be brought to the potty, but alas, Puck was juuust too late...
Oh hello there Consort... please don't scare anyone here!
Oh darnit, Desdemona goes for it instead!
Puck... wasn't as lucky as Ariel. Juliette goes down on her knees!
It works!
Juliette is happy to have saved her husband from an early demise! ... was this a revenge attempt after naming their daughter after her like some replacement?
While all that happened, Adrian made his way back to the manor.
Desdemona makes her way to the clown box.

Adrian, super tired after that day out, just barged to bed.
Juliette took this opportunity of being up all by herself, to teach Desdemona how to walk.
A new dawn arrives at Capp Manor.
A new day for Juliette...
... Adrian, and Puck to go to work and school...
... and for Hal to take care of Desdemona for the day.
... Including the potty training...
Adrian... finally decided to give his homework a shot. It didn't last for long.
At least Puck and Juliette got back with a solid paycheck.
Puck decides to practise his golfing...
... while Juliette puts her heiress in the crib.
Hal decided to cook dinner.. but he came upon a bad surprise.
Time to grab the car to go out...
... while Juliette gets a skill point for Charisma!
Hal's off to the Veronaville Market!
Thanks to a coupon he cut from the newspaper, he saved a bit of Simoleons before going back home.
Back at the Manor, Juliette went off to bed while Puck does the care for Desdemona.
Adrian plays in the bathtub.
... and Hal is back with the groceries.
After a lot of practise, Puck successfully teaches Desdemona how to walk!
Juliette then takes over with the training, teaching Desdemona to talk, when suddenly...
... Puck gets out of bed, just to have his tummy expand!
Nah, he's not pregnant, he just lost his fitness.
The cousins got up next...
... while Juliette and Puck played a chess match together to bond.
With a new morning it was time for everyone to go to work...
... or to school...
... leaving Hal once again to take care of little Desdemona, and help her learn some basic skills.
During the times Hal does a few chores, little Mona plays with her toys, which does help her gain a charisma skill point.
I guess that a D is better than an F... Still not enough to get into college I reckon.
Adrian decides to play with Desdemona's toy!

Their time together playing chess and golf pays off well - as Juliette and Puck once again get promoted!
Puck congratulates Juliette with their mutual achievement.
While Desdemona gets the Good and Excitable traits...
... Hal has a call with his old friend Dora...
... and Juliette and Puck get in the bedroom once again!
They just finished when another face peeks up...
Puck picks up his daughter for a good hug.
While Hal gets a skill point, the birthday notifications pop up!
Juliette and Puck get heavy together again.
And again!
While Juliette goes to bed early, Puck manages to potty-train Desdemona! That's 2 out of 3 toddler skills done.
For now Mona is too tired though - giving both parents the chance to catch some sleep...
... until the little wonder wakes up from her nap, meaning it's Juliette's turn to take care of the little sprout!
She manages to teach her how to Talk!
Juliette grabs herself an early morning salad snack, which Bonkers gratefully makes use of.
BAD KITTY!
While Juliette works on a toy truck, the season changes to Spring...
... and once all...
... the ghosts jumped in their graves...
... it's time to end Capp Manor for now.
Next time we'll catch up with the Montys! How will their counter the Capp's indoctrination clown-in-a-boxes?
