The Ottomas Family
Large families have a lot of love to share, but also require a lot of work - especially with more children on the way! Will grandma's help be enough to give this family the strength it needs to live in Veronaville?
Peter and Samantha are teenage sweethearts who married early in their adulthoods, and soon David, Sharla and Tommy came out of their marriage. Samantha got pregnant for the fourth time, and this time she and Peter got the 2 for 1 deal.
To have the extra space needed to house a family this size, the Ottomas clan had to move to a more open and rural area. Peter's mother Dora also tagged along, to stay close with her grandchildren. Will the Ottomas family thrive in the space Veronaville has to offer?
As always, let's first take a look at their personalities and LTWs
Dora Ottomas
6 grandchildren! As Peter is her only child, he'll need to have one more after Samantha gave birth to the twins. Question is, will she still be around for long enough to witness that?
Peter Ottomas
Peter is working in Journalism though, so this one is not anywhere close to being completed. But at least he doesn't have to score with many lovers to complete this one. So despite being a Romance Sim he could still be loyal to one partner if his wants say so.
Samantha Ottomas
Just like Peter, Samantha would have to change careers to achieve this. Hopefully having lots of children will keep her aspiration meter high.
David Ottomas
David IS in the career his LTW wants him to pursue. If circumstances won't force him off this path he should be alright :3
Sharla Ottomas
As she is a child, she will doesn't have a LTW yet. I think that by round 3 she will get into puberty though. She and Dora are also the grouchiest Ottomases, so she might get tricky once she hits her teens... Though then again the Seasons and Pets Sims have balanced personalities...
Tommy Ottomas
Still in his toddler years, also a balanced personality. Here's hoping he won't get lost in the crowd.
After David and Sharla leave for school, Peter and Samantha get a little kiss as Dora goes off to do whatever she's planning to.
Samantha then goes and reads some skill books as Peter reads a little story to David :3
As Peter has the want to woohoo Samantha, I decide to charge their romantic batteries >;P
Along with the welcome wagon (consisting of just Titania Summerdream) comes Peter's carpool.
Meanwhile Dora is teaching David how to walk.
And then David came back from school, and he does have some needs to take care of...
... Good for him that Samantha wanted to play with him before the carpool for him and Dora arrived.
David is enjoying a bottle right before his bed time.
Sharla came home, with a report card and a new friend - who happens to be Dora Zuimelhof once again!
Samantha is proud of her daughter's grades :D
Oh god, the tricky one. Usually reporting is the correct option, but I once got unlucky during an Asylum challenge and reporting Ms Moorington got my Sim fired...
Lucky! Extra cash for the household...
And there Sharla managed to make friends with Dora! Young miss Zuimelhof is getting popular and I haven't even played her family yet XD
Albany - that's just MEAN! Why are you setting a bad example for your kids?
Heck yes! David got a promotion! Neato! Hopefully he will roll the want to gain a skill point...
Like this! One more promotion and he's maxed out his teen job!
Peter got back from work as well mow, and he's rolled the want to befriend Goneril Capp! Time to give her a call!
David made friends with his little brother, which fulfills his want as well!
Meanwhile Dora has taught Sharla how to do her homework, which should help out too!
As for Peter and Goneril, the want to make friends became a want to make best friends, and the phone call became an invitation!
An interesting and mixed family dinner followed, including Titania Summerdream who has stayed around here for quite some time now.
As for Peter... I locked in his want to make best friends with Goneril instead and he rolled the want to flirt with Goneril... Oof. Here goes I guess.
And as I told him to get Goneril out because of Samantha being about to wake up...
Though Samantha had other matters to deal with at first.
Oh god, not the lightning fires :c
Luckily the rains put it out soon enough... Though I don't feel too stoked about Samantha getting outside in this storm to throw something out :o
But nope, she wasn't hit and instead eats some leftovers, just as the first Autumn morning is about to happen. Which means it is time to end this family here and focus on the next household instead, the Ramaswamis! We'll have to wait until the next round to see what the twins will turn out to be, how well David's career will take off, if Dora will still be around for longer, and what will happen with Goneril and Peter?
