After one more good-bye hug from his mother...
... Thomas learns he has earned the Neurotic trait.
The Ottomases
After Beatrice and Benedick graduated, they left the Monty residence to their step-sister Sharla Ottomas, who moved out of the dorms into the place. She's now joined by her brother Thomas.
While Sharla is enjoying her pancakes for breakfast, Thomas enters the premise.
He's getting used to his new surroundings...
... which gives Sharla some time to work out to try and get fit, earning herself a body skill point in the process.
Good luck at your first college class, Thomas Ottomas!
After catching up with Dora Zuimelhof...
... Sharla is off to her classes, too.
After returning from his introductory course, Thomas decides he wants to become a Mathematician.
After registering his major change, he hurries back to the ongoing class in his NEW major.
Thomas is home - finishing his pancakes when suddenly Sharla looms over him.
Oh no, get out you moo moo mascot!
We want the house to be safe and empty as we go and visit the Student Union.
After entering...
... Thomas plays a game of pool with another student...
... while Sharla walks into Orlando Butler. She buys him an espresso.
Thomas meanwhile meets Marylena Ying, the two of them seem to hit it off well.
Hmm not sure if the best way to hang out together would be to sit at ocmpletely different spots...
At least Orlando...
... wants to patch things up a little by planting a kiss on Sharla's mouth. She accepts the gesture.
Time's ticking though - we should go back home...
Back at the Monty house...
... the siblings watch a movie together...
... before going to bed.
The next day...
Sharla focuses on her fitness once again, while Thomas eats some leftovers.
Sharla, who has learned how to go out and jog, takes herself on a tour around the campus...
... while Thomas invites some relatives over to hang out.

Oh DANGIT Antonio you old crump.
Yeah sorry sir, you gotta go before you infect everyone else with your flu.
Pleh, they're out of groceries too.
It's too busy in this place to go out, let's just order them.

And welp, now Carla McCullough is taking it out on Beatrice Monty!
Then Beatrice goes and walks in on Thomas showering! Sorry Bea, making shocked gestures at him won't free up the toilet.
The good news with Sharla being a family Sim is that she can make some comfort soup for the family, hopefully this'll heal them up a little. (I saw Oscar having a coughing fit, and wouldn't be surprised if others got infected, too).
While surrounded by the aroma of the comfort soup, Sharla receives a call from her friend Scot Philippine.
Sadly the aromas didn't help to keep her safe from getting the flu herself.
While Thomas is off to class...
... he gets interrupted by a streaker running in.
This incident ruined his zest for learning for the day.
Sharla also has to go to class, despite having a coughing fit.
After dealing...
... with a handful...
... of calls for Sharla...
... Thomas goes and plays a bit with the dog.
Afterwards he gives the hedge a much-needed trim.
Sharla then returns, and is immediately off to sleep.
Thomas meanwhile heals again while trimming the hedges.
He celebrates with gelatin.
After catching up a bit with his good friend Quince Summerdream...
... Thomas goes to bed too, with the dreaded exams being announced soon.
Around sunrise Thomas has to get up and get to his exam, and Sharla gets healthy again just in time...
... to leave for her own exams.
Thomas finishes his Sophomore year with a B...
... and Sharla gets a C+ for her exam.
After taking care of the bills...
... Sharla goes out for a run while Thomas has some leisure time in front of the TV.
Thomas however, has rolled a want to make the Dean's List -- which means he has to study HARD! He needs 4 mechanical skill points to be able to get an A+ and at the start of the day he had 0.
While Thomas is on the grind, Sharla was off to class -- and right as she returns she gets a visit from an encouraging mascot!
The llama, plus another rando who invited himself in, make for good study buddies so that Sharla can up her grade a little.
With Sharla off to bed early, and Thomas stuck with his nose in the books, the evening passes by quick, luckily he gets a few Eureka moments, which speed up his learning process...
... and after a good night's rest, Sharla makes pancakes for herself and Thomas...
... so that they can start the day off well.
While Thomas is busy with his study, Sharla went on another jog...
... and look and behold - she has reaches her goal of personal fitness!
She calls with her professor to celebrate her achievement, and to score a couple brownie points for her degree.
While Sharla's off to class, Thomas works on his term paper.
He completes the thing before collapsing from stress...
... and relaxes a little by doing some science research on the computer for hobby purposes.
Sharla loses one best friend, but gains another one.
Then Quince Summerdream walks by again.
He and Sharla do...
... a complicated handshake while Thomas is at his class.
He then goes in and turns into a big fluffy Werewolf.
A perfect opportunity to have some soup with Thomas while talking about the spicy stuff.
After facing a prank caller...
... Thomas hits the hay.
Soon a new sunrise is upon the Ottomas siblings...
... and after Sharla invites over Orlando Butler...
... for a quick romantic moment together...
... it is time for another exam!
Thomas' hard work has paid off - he made the list!
Sharla's work also paid off - she got herself a degree in philosophy!
With their Sophomore and Senior years respectively being complete, it's time to leave these two again and see what else in college there is to do!
