On the second morning of this round...
..., a new teen left to the VUL...
... going by the name of Ariel Capp.
She is the first child of her late mother Goneril to grow up into a young adult and go attend university.
If her younger brother Adrian won't improve his grades at once, she will also be the ONLY child of Goneril's reaching that fate.
Due to the impact that her parents' rocky marriage, messy divorce and deadly post-divorce made linger underneath her skin, Ariel has developed Commitment Issues...
Capp
Now that she's out of Capp Manor and spreading out her own wings, what directions will free bird Ariel fly towards?
Due to not having high enough funds and nobody to take over the Capp college house from, Ariel has moved into the dorms for the start of her college education.
After claiming both her room and her health...
... she did an assignment under the watchful glare of the infamous dorm cook Chef Bertha.
Ariel persisted however, and upon completing her assignment she got the motivation to plan ahead on her college path.
Of course Ariel would decide to study the arts, it's the thing she has gained a lot of praise and respect for.
She also notices a rose standing on a table... and then notices who wrote the note and who it was for...
How things have changed ever since...
Eager to start a bit of romance, Ariel starts mingling with her dormmates.
Melissa King seems to be a solid catch to pursue later on..
First however Ariel decides to give the easel a try.
After making a start to her upcoming masterpiece, the clock tells Ariel it's time to attend her first class.
After class, where she met her professor, the phone was ringing...
"Oh heya Bottom. Attending college is like a wish come true!"
What wasn't a wish come true however, is one of the dormies making a move on Ariel... perhaps warm her up a little first.
After dealing with an ominous prank call...
... Ariel immediately laughs in the face of caution as she throws herself a 'welcome to college' party!
...
Also, Hermia graduated like YEARS ago? Arianna called a bit too late to talk to her.
... orrr, perhaps too early is the right choice of words here.
While Ariel is hanging out with Cunedagius, Hermia and Melissa decide to have a chat right in the middle.
Hermia then gives Cunedagius a prank greeting with the joy buzzer. They prank her back by giving her the flu.
They celebrate their bonding with a dance in the cafeteria.
While Katherine Gregory has a couple gestures for Hal...
... Quince Summerdream makes a move on Ariel?!
Didn't expect that, hope that Charlotte won't learn about this...
Ariel gains a crush on Quince as a result...
"... wait what? Me and Quince, what just happened?"
Then the cops burst through the dorm doors -- party's over.
While Ariel has a much needed shower, the crusty dorm cook Chef Bertha sneaks into the bathroom, to clean up some filthy dishes the young 'uns have left inside the dorms.
Ariel feels at risk of being stabbed by a trusty ol' spatula...
Chef Bertha luckily never whipped out her spatula, and Ariel was able to go to bed with her back unharmed.
The next morning Ariel got up and feeling healthy once again.
After eating pancakes...
... she continues with her painting!
After a happy phone call from her cousin Cunedagius...
... Ariel decides to ask Katherine Gregory out on a date...
Ariel isn't afraid to pucker her lips to greet.
Their time together is soon followed by a dance...
... which then cascades into a kiss!
The love continues...
... and soon the dream date comes to an end...
Katherine's gift for the good time: The Flu. Again.
The flu doesn't stop classes from happening, and those are needed for Ariel to pass for her degree...
Once she's back after class, Ariel sees her dormmate Sierra, decides to put a move on her... but gets rejected...
At the back of the dorm Ariel spots a lovely bouquet for her.
Time to go for the next date!
After sailing through another coughing fit...
... Ariel makes a few good moves on Bottom Summerdream, two to of them falling in love together in the process...
Ariel being Ariel, a playful Sim, also feels like having a bit of fun, and being a slob the fart prank is the way to go.
Despite that the date is a success.
While kissing Bottom good-bye (and probably spreading the flu around), Ariel has a brief thought..
What if, like Hermia, Desdemona could be raised from the dead and then attend university?
Ariel ponder this while putting some finishing touches on her painting...
Not too long later the piece is complete and ready to be sold!
It's her very first master piece!
After a small flu-caused toilet break, Ariel is back to the painting zone.
By the time the sun rises again from her all-nighter, Ariel got better from her flu. For the third time this round.
Just in time for her Freshman year exam.
Despite not getting any sleep whatsoever that night, Ariel has passed her first year in college!
She celebrates with a bag of stale crisps from the party 2 days ago.
Back upstairs Ariel walks into Melissa. She seems accepting of Ariel's advances...
... and soon they find themselves on a date.
Ariel warms Melissa up with a backrub...
... which is then followed by Melissa's class. Welp.
Instead Ariel gets the cow mascot as company, being a complete nag at her.
Which is tame compared to Chandler, who got into an actual fistfight with the costumed cattle.
Good thing Chandler fought them off well.
After Melissa returned, Ariel ended the date.
One well-selling painting later and Ariel is off to class once more.
... and Ariel has some of Chef Bertha's grease Mac n Cheese.
... Can't have a dorm playthrough without at least ONE of the dormies falling asleep or pissing themselves.
Ariel decides to give Melissa one more prank, out of revenge for ditching her for class.
Then, completely out of nowhere, Bottom returns with a BIG television for Ariel! If that doesn't pay for retaking the Capp college residence next round then probably nothing will...
Ariel however, was crashing out after skipping a night.
And the sun had risen above the horizons already by the time Ariel got out of bed, down to new adventures.
Time to explore campus a little!
Every college graduate at the VUL has to visit the Lounge at least once...
... and today is Ariel's turn to hit the dance floor!
After meeting Dora Zuimelhof and framing her *ahem*... neck??...
... Ariel meets up with the group at the bowling alley.
In the end she decides that Katherine is still the best catch in the area.
After chatting a bit more with her...
... Katherine infects Ariel with the flu, AGAIN.
Thanks a lot!
This doesn't stop Ariel from giving a pop-up concert at the back porch!
She draws in a little crowd...
... before a coughing fit interrupts it all again..
Maybe the lounge isn't the best place to hang out for now.
Instead Ariel should go for a shopping spree!
Welcome to the renovated H&M! Now including a crosswalk and parking spots.
Let's replace this dark outfit with something more up Ariel's alley: GREEN!
After officially making her purchase...
... Ariel notices a cute girl her age, Cassidy Long...
Ariel quickly purchases a nose piercing to go with her new college look...
... before making a few moves on Cassidy. She might be next on her date list...
Before that however, Ariel changes her outfit, pierces her nostril...
... and is on her way back to her dormitory to pep herself up a little before class is due.
One quick toilet visit later...
... and Ariel has to head to class already.
... during which her bladder started acting up AGAIN.
Some time in the bathrooms later, Ariel gorges down on some of Chef Bertha's Patented Cafeteria Slop...
... before resting before the exams tomorrow.
Good morning Ariel, today is the big day...
After a quick toilet break she goes to her Sophomore exams...
... and gets a B for her efforts -- all she had to do so far is show up for classes.
With the money she could get from Bottom's television, and the money Cunedagius will most likely provide when they most likely enter college, they and Ariel should be set to retake the Capp house! Will the two of them go and make the most of their college time there?
