Monty Ranch Residents
Previously at Monty Ranch: Isabella was left all alone with Felix after Patrizio died of old age and then her grandson Romeo left for college. She used this time alone to take up a hobby in fitness, but is it enough to fill in her loneliness?
The answer to that last question will come in early this episode...
The first thing Isabella did after waking up is to call up her grandson Antonio to invite his household over.
Isabella rolled the want to see a relative get married, and Antonio juuuust happens to be in the right circumstances for that to happen, if he goes to move in with his beloved mother before Isabella passes away, which I think will happen before the end of this round.
Antonio... isn't fully convinced of the whole plan yet.
I guess Isabella has to talk the idea through with him a bit more.
Perhaps have a meal togeth--- OH, OF COURSE.
One trip to the grocer...
And Isabella witnesses her daughter and son-in-law showing off their strong relationship. The cashier seems to enjoy the show.
Despite Isabella greeting her relatives kindly her reputation is about to hit rock bottom...
While Kendra McCarthy - Romeo's date last time at the Monty's - is less successful in flirting with Orlando Butler, Isabella has a talk to her friend April Hutchins - a backup friend to move in with her in case Antonio cannot be convinced.
Back at Monty Ranch everyone has lunch.
After which Antonio agrees to sell his house and move back into the ranch.
And because Antonio ALSO happens to have a want to marry Samantha...
It's time to bring the entire household along...
And make the wedding a reality!
Mercutio... has his own ideas on what is appropriate to wear at a wedding.
"Nice, bro!", Romeo has to say about it.
The other guests just move themselves to get seated...
And soon enough Antonio and Samantha Monty tie the knot!
The crowd applauds!
Sharla Ottomas is the first to bring a toast to her newlywed mother and stepfath---
Hang on, is that Ariel Capp infiltrating the wedding?
"YOU!" Benedick yells as he tackles Hal Capp, who also sneaked in.
Hal manages to fight Ben off however.
At least nobody got seriously injured - partially because neither Hal nor Benedick have any body skill.
"Get OUT! No room for lumbering elephants barging in!"
The mood got a bit spoiled by this twist of events, and soon enough the entire household found it's way home - and ooh boy, it's getting crowded in this place!
All those family members need a place to sleep and everything.
Which means...

The top floor has been rearranged a bit - the urns have been moved to the staircase to make the room into a secondary master bedroom for Antonio and Samantha.
On the bottom floor I put all of Romeo's stuff into Mercutio's old room, so that we have 3 bedrooms spacious enough to fit 2 beds. Left to right they are: Tommy and Benedick's, Sharla and Beatrice's and Oscar and Charlotte's.
Before we even get to any action at the crowded household - we're going on the go once more - this time to the cemetary!
And in no-time we have a fight already!
Samantha isn't too bothered by it however and places her former mother-in-law's grave in the grass.
...
Judging by the direction of it she may be a bit bothered by the fight after all...
Speaking of which, Patric won.
At the moment of playing I forgot to check Patric's body skill - so I had to look it up in SimPe when writing this post, and then roll the outcome. Looks like Carmen got lucky here as Patric maxed out his body skill!
After that detour it's time to see what's going on at Monty Ranch!
While Beatrice does her exercises to gain a skill point, Sharla focuses on her want to befriend Felix.
She manages to pull it off while her kid siblings are enjoying dinner.
After a tough cardio workout Beatrice treats herself to a relaxing bathroom retreat.
Suddenly I notice the ghost of Patrizio bringing a visit from the afterlife INSIDE the ranch, instead of in the back yard where his grave is - and with the recent hauntings at Capp Manor still engraved in my memory I started to prepare for the worst...
Samantha and Antonio have other things on their mind however...
... and so has Isabella!
Soon enough...
... we find her and Titania Summerdream on a date at the Strip.
While the two of them go indoors for their date, I spot Curtis Ryan and Victor Lillard having soem quality time together outdoors.
Remember that poll on whether to make them playable?
Putting them on Stratford Strip won! That means they'll be played after the Zuimelhofs this round.
Indoors however, Cyd Roseland witnessed how Titania gained a crush on Isabella at last...
Which soon enough turned into love!
Well well, look at those wants... Time to, maybe, both get in the car?
... Not like this, Titania!
I guess Titania cannot find her way around the phone booth. Time to try another lot.
Such as Pentameter Parkway.
After recharging the romantic batteries a bit...
It's time to get to do the deed!
Bianca got scarred for life seeing her mother and Titania together...
... I think she REALLY did not like seeing them together.
Not aware of her daughter's feelings, Isabella returned at Monty Ranch.
While Isabella went to do some kitchen work, Titania brought along some flowers.
After baking some of her perfect Baked Alaska, Isabella called it a day and went to bed.
The next morning we got a whole bunch of kids waking up, all at once.
And all those kids need to all get ready for school in the morning.
Beatrice tries to cram in some late pancakes before boarding the school bus.
And while Antonio does some cooking of his own, Isabella finds the flowers Titania left her.
Next we find one of the most unusual sights in the world - the dog awaits the mail carrier to get petted!
Besides the bills, Isabella also finds some dining coupons in the mail.
She believes she may make one person quite happy with them...
I also decided to give Isabella a bit of a makeover here, to go with my new rule idea on elderly wrinkles:
Depending on how old they are in days, elder Sims will get progressively prominent wrinkles. This means that it'll be possible to estimate an elder's age by their appearance.
74 days or younger = no wrinkles
75 days to 86 days = slight wrinkles
87 days to 92 days = medium wrinkles
93 days or older = heavy wrinkles
Isabella, at 94 days, gets the heavy wrinkles. Not all elders will be as lucky to reach that age however.
While Isabella takes on some more cooking, the teens return from school - and Sharla brought back home her classmate Orlando!
Beatrice also brought back home Scot Phillipine.
Despite Sharla having the want to find someone to go steady with, Scot takes things far too quickly with her. Quite a shame, because he's a 2-bolter.
Samantha and the kids return home next - and Tommy is thriving!
While Sharla is getting into shape herself to fulfill a want for any skill point, someone checked the fridge only to realise it's empty again.
Antonio invited his sister over...
Because the time has come for Isabella Monty to leave her family behind and join Patrizio in the afterlife.

Beatrice honours grandma Isabella by making her renowned comfort soup.
With another day done, everyone is slowly getting ready to go to bed.
Benedick and Beatrice got up early however - being unable to sleep any longer because of Isabella's recent death. They find a bit of comfort in each other to deal with their grief.
Soon enough the rest of the house wakes up - ready for another day! - which for the kids with the right wants means they have to do their homework at the very last minute while Samantha takes an early shower before her early shift begins.
And because both Antonio also has to go to his work today, the house will actually be empty!
While at work, Samantha receives a chance card.
She chooses wisely and earns some extra money that way.
The teens come home - and bring several of their classmates back home again.
When the younger kids and their parents also return home, Benedick made a friend with Katherine Gregory.
And of course a primary school child is brought along - welcome back, Minola Monty.
The afternoon passes by, the classmates are socialised with and during dinner the familiar wall of aging notifications hits again.
One person who is not having dinner however is Beatrice, who is catching up with her crush-turned-love Amar Larrea.
Any further development there has to wait for now, as we're heading to the Stratford Strip...
... for a teens' night out. It's here that Beatrice wants to take things more seriously with Amar... A shame he isn't answering his phone all of a sudden.
It's also a shame that Benedick and Sharla are probably each other's strongest match - because they're officially stepsiblings now they cannot enter a relationship together, leaving them to chat up with the cashiers to see if there lies a match. For Benedick it might actually work out!
After a few hours at the Strip, it's time to return to the crowded house - and with Isabella moved into the afterlife we can actually fit all family members onto the loading screen!
Back home Beatrice beelines towards Amar to ask him to go steady with her - and he accepts!
While the youngsters all go and retire to their beds, the newlyweds still have this need for some one-on-one together.
Things hit off, and soon enough we got more wants to get in the car!
And thus.
l'Amore. Right before bedtime. And they cannot afford to sleep in too late...
The next morning, and big plans await Antonio, Samantha and their offspring.
Their bedrooms are packed.
And Antonio is reading the newpaper while Samantha is having a chat with Mercutio, who just returned from college after being expelled.
With the main heir line of the Monty family back in the homestead, it's time for the side branch to fly out once more to find a place of their own. And with the funds of both Antonio and Samantha combined, they should be able to find a place that suits their household well.
This all means that after everyone clown carred themselves into the taxi...
... the household is back to consisting of one Monty and the dog. Who would've thought that Felix is the one consistent being in this entire round?

To Mercutio, being back home and having an entire ranch to himself calls for a party!
Soon enough the place is filled with Sims again - and also Sharla walking by!
Mercutio talks and chats a bit with his guests, and soon he's best friends with Amy Platz - Tybalt Capp's fiancé(!) - and with that is halfway there on the road to his lifetime want!
While Mercutio got a call from a pranker, Bianca seems to have some negative moments with Titania Summerdream.
Which seems to escalate at the moment Mercutio makes best friends with Sanjay Ramaswami.
Mercutio eventually decides to come outside to call out his aunt Bianca, the main aggressor in this blooming conflict.
Despite that incident, Mercutio's party turned into a success!
With the want to earn a skill point in his pocket, Mercutio goes for the cook books - and soon enough he's learned a bit more about his family's main trade.
After which he hits the Stratford Strip one final time for this episode.
With a new age comes a new look...

Not bad, if I have to say so myself. I got him some extra clothes for other events too - and yes, I also put a *proper* formal outfit on him instead of the Santa suit xD
After calling his friend from college for a bit...
... it's back to the Ranch for Mercutio.
There he watches a movie to relax himself a bit...
... before calling it a night and going to bed.
The next morning Mercutio wakes up once more - but this time the summer heat is upon him, prompting us to move on to the next household in the rotation: the Summerdream family!
Will Mercutio use the friendly rays of the summer's sun to make more new friends? Will he learn to take some more responsibility upon himself? And what will happen when Romeo joins his brother at the Monty Ranch?
