Round 2-10 (Ottomas)

Ottomas Family
Previously at the Ottomas Family: Peter has strayed a bit from the family he has with Goneril Capp - which has led to her family falling apart. Can he find a way to prevent the same from happening to his own offspring? Can Samantha and Dora take care of their young ones? Will David and Sharla build good friendships with their classmates? And most importantly... What will the infamous Ottomas Twins™ turn out like?

We start off where we left off the Ottomas family - everyone asleep as Samantha eats some nighttime pregnancy cravings.

First thing in the morning - Demi Love, who got into a fight with Peter Ottomas at some point, steals the newspaper, setting the tone for Veronaville.

Sharla earns a quick cooking skill point right before going off to school.

Samantha meanwhile focused on her want to befriend Antonio Monty - the power of phone calls.

Dora is taking the toddler duty in the morning.

Peter meanwhile tried to have a date... Sadly for him Goneril wasn't available at the moment.

Good for Tommy though, as daddy managed to teach him how to walk! (the bad news: I botched up the picture when pasting it in paint)

After Peter went off to work, David got home from school!

And you know what that means for a young teen...

Phone shopping! And maybe hanging out with kids his age...

While David Ottomas seems to be interested to get to to know Chris Cho, Consort Capp seems to lose some favour with his friend Carla Zuimelhof, who insulted him after seeing him bully Benedick Monty.

Isabella Monty took Consort's haressment of her grandson a bit more personal.

Turns out that Benedick is taking after his grandmother's example.

After playing a bit of pinball at the arcade, David went back, ready to tackle some chores.

While David was getting himself some leftover pancakes for lunch, Sharla baked some cookies and made some good money with it.

Quince Summerdream was very impressed and got invited to get back at Sharla's to get some more.

Next it was time for Peter to get a chance card...

... and Peter got a GOOD outcome!

Welcome back home!

To celebrate his success, Peter baked some burgers...

... and had some quality time with Samantha.

Followed by some learning time. Tommy got himself a logic skill point...

Followed by his father earning a cooking skill point.

Learning time was over for Tommy though - his mother tucked him in for the night.

Followed by his parents going to bed, too!

David got up early in the early morning to play with his youngest sibling.

... A title that'd soon go to a new member of the Ottomas family.

The older twin is a boy!

The younger twin is a girl!

Welcome to Veronaville, Oscar and Charlotte Ottomas!

Life's getting even more hectic for the Ottomases now - which includes school for David and Sharla.

And Peter starting on his new job, leaving his mother to deal with the dirty diapers.

Good for Dora that she has the day off, as Charlotte just thought it was a good idea to barf all over her grandmother.

After Dora got herself cleaned up a bit, Samantha took care of Tommy's needs and taught him to use the potty!

The rest of the afternoon was a calm time, which was needed for the things to come that evening - Birthdays!

A mixed bag of neighbours was invited!

And with 2 kids aging up no time was wasted to get to the cakes.

First up is Oscar.
Time to find out what he looks like...

Poof!

Not too bad so far, lots of Samantha in there. Though the cheeks are really gaunt.

Next we have David helping Charlotte age up.

There we go!

A bit more of Peter in there. Especially the nose and the cheeks and jaw. I wonder if they'll grow in their faces later in life?

The mess all over the place didn't seem to stop Carla and Dave from making out together.

Overall the party was good.

Time for sleep though? Not with those twins keeping each other up.

Mummy's tired now though so the three toddlers will have to vend for themselves for a bit.

The next morning David and Sharla catch up on some late homework.

Poor David wasn't in time to finish it off before the school bus arrived. Not that he minds too much as a popularity Sim.

After Peter got off to work as well, the three tots were put to sleep... so many young 'uns isn't an easy feat.

David's musical career seems to connect with his school activities too, which gives him some extra money.

And as the carpool has arrived for the parttime job, Peter rolls a chance card AGAIN. Will he get this lucky again?

... Guess he is! He's on fire, honestly!

Sharla also brought back a classmate today, Rebecka Chun.

In the meanwhile Peter rolled the want to have a date... Remembering Goneril is off at 4pm, she's eligible at this hour.

Goneril agrees with the date, and as the kids are playing a fight or actually fighting...

... the taxi arrives... with another career chance card.

David wasn't as lucky as his dad though.

To the Veronaville Market it is!

Isabella doesn't seem to be amused by the sight of Goneril. Knowing the Monty's hatred for anything Capp he has to be careful...

Or not. Let's make out in the middle of the street.

Or woohoo in the fitting boots.

Especially with shady unsavoury charlatans sneaking around.

Who afterwards try and convince Goneril to try their new product. Goneril, luckily, didn't fell for the scheme.

The date was an overall big success!

Time for Peter to get back home to the reality of his busy family life.

Where he at least assists things by cleaning up the place a bit... Though it's the upstairs that are more in need of a clean-up.

Another imminent birthday tonight, as Goneril does the same Peter did in her round and brings in a bouquet of flowers.

"Ooh, they smell pretty! I bet they would look lovely inside!"

The party gets planned!

And... it wasn't such a good idea to get both Goneril and Albany there.

Toddlers with dolls in their mouth when giving them actions - always classic XD

David wants both a date and to be friends with Chris Cho, so since she got invited to the party he thought he could try and make a bit of a move on her to fulfill both wants.

Time for little Tommy to blow out the candles!

Time to get to the school benches, young fellow!

And of course, he needs himself a new bed, too! Sharing with his bigger brother will have to do for now.

The party goes on and people socialise, and Samantha notices the flowers on the desk...

She is NOT amused.

And neither is she with Goneril.

Goneril seems to be quite busy however making a show of her own, constantly beating up her ex husband.

Luckily for Peter Samantha expresses her fury in a much mature manner, namely by venting against her friend Carla...

... and her other friend Antonio Monty, who might've even become her best friend here.

Despite some of the drama the party ended on a decent note, though the relationship between Peter and Samantha has taken a decent hit.

Goneril however, is another matter.

For now Samantha is focusing her energy on taking care of the toddlers as she is starting to realise that she does want to fix things with Peter.

Peter is certainly willing to fix things up with her too, albeit in his Romance-Sim way that is pacing a bit too fast for Samantha;s likings.

As Samantha argues to her husband that rewinning her love is a more sophisticated art form, Tommy officially has a hair cut.

Sharla in the meanwhile is having an early morning phone call with Dora Zuimelhof, officially kicking their relationship to being best friends.

And then it was time ofr the excited young Ottomas to start his first day at school.

Dora takes on the toddler duty, which with just the twins is a much less hectic experience...

... Samantha in the meanwhile takes her beauty sleep after staying up all night, not yet ready to sleep in the same bed as Peter again.

David got home from school, with slipping grades. So what's a boy like him to do with that?

Ignore his responsibilities and go out to a community lot of course!

And for good measure invite the girl he has a click with as well!

Time to officially make a move on her...

And Chris wants to give David a chance for love... while Consort Capp is having a little argument with Benedick Monty.

That doesn't bother the lovebirds too much though.

They are too concerned being on Cloud Nine together!

... and whatever comes beyond that cloud.

Chris and David become best friends along the way.

Which makes the date a big success!

When going back Samantha seems to not be over Peter's adultery yet...

Once he gets home Mercutio gives a call, which boosts David aspiration even further!

David sadly barely missed out on Chris bringing him a bouquet, as he had work to do, right when his siblings got home from school.

Followed by Peter. Luckily for him Sharla doesn't really seem to realise some of the things that have happened.

Peter is trying again to make a move on Samantha, but still coming off too strong.

Another batch of birthday messages - again for the twins and David. That's going to be interesting next round. Dora is also approaching the end of her life I see.

And so is the entire Ottomas clan unless someone will go out and do some grocery shopping...

...

... Samantha to the rescue!

And Dora to the rescue to teach Tommy how to study!

With the groceries done, the family can have dinner together... except for Peter, who has to handle the twins.

Followed by a phone call from Goneril's father who'd like to meet him soon Downtown... which I have never even added but okay.

In said confusion Peter didn't go to a community lot yet, which bemused Consort... I hope he won't stay mad at him for too long.

Wanting to fix things with Peter again, Samantha takes things in her own hands and shows him how to be a more delicate and devoted partner.

Which does come with the responsibility of dealing with kids asking for attention.

Tommy meanwhile can't keep up with staying in bed, I guess he got excited by it being Saturday - did the school system scar him so much already?

With winter chills being in the air, the question on how the situation between Peter, Samantha and Goneril will turn out is up in the air too - who will be left in the cold?

Before we get there it is time to move on to the next family in the Autumn round - the Ramaswamis!
