Zuimelhof Family
Previously at the Zuimelhof family: Nora and Keith officially tied the knot! After the ceremony came the honeymoon, from which they returned with wonderful memories, teleportation lessons and a desire to expand their family! Will the Zuimelhofs end summer with a newborn among them?
Nora barely set foot in the house and Dora is already approaching her for permission to go out.
It may be pushy, but with Nora in high honeymoon spirits she obviously said yes.
Time to give Sharla a call!
Nora and Keith meanwhile have to clean themselves up a bit from the long flight... A shame Keith forgot to call in sick before leaving.
Dora's entertainment for the night arrives...
And so is Dave and Carla's entertainment.
Oh my, turns out not only Nora and Keith are craving a family expansion...
While he's cooking some spaghetti, I officially declare Keith's favourite colour to be yellow.
He also hung the souvenir rack to display the stuff he and Nora bought in Takemizu.
Nora, seeing her husband be productive, was pleased.
After some quality time together, Dave and Carla knock it off.
Carla, after all, wants to focus on her physical shape.
Nora meanwhile practises her cooking skills - it does help that she can learn those things a bit faster from the honeymoon high.
Dora comes back, ready for bed.
Carla gets another body skill point, also ready for bed.
Nora and Keith are also ready for bed.
The next morning it is Keith who got up first.
Not having much to do, he goes for the telescope while Dave is planning to go on a hike.
Dora also had to take off for school, with the weekend being officially over.
And Nora?.. Yup. It has happened!
Dave is off to work as well.
... so sorry ma'am, he is not available to talk to.
Nora vomited again. Poor Nora.
The best way to get the bad flavour of vomit out of her mouth is with a kiss from a love letter... which actually is most likely intended for one of her parents.
Sadly it got overruled again by more morning sickness.
Oh my, peeking at Bottom Summerdream are we?
At least he wanted that skill point for logic.
Same goes for Nora wanting that skill point for Cooking.
Same goes for ANOTHER logic skill point for Keith - it's REALLY effective.
Nora meanwhile baked a cake!
A returning theme of this day is people piling up the skill points.
Bottom Summerdream is less amused of the repetitiveness of the events.
Oh well, he's having Nora's delicious pie.. if Nora won't steal all of the bites that is.
Dora continues the theme of the day by gaining a body skill point herself.
While Keith hits the telescope YET AGAIN, Carla has some quality time with Agora.
Dora decides to throw a party, despite her grades being poor.
While Dora puts away the phone, Keith gets ANOTHER logic skill point. That's like the 5th of the day already!
The party guests have arrived!
While Dora gets plastered with messages about her imminent opportunity to go to college, she forms a hangout group in the living area...
... followed by a pillow fight with Quince Summerdream.
Dave decided to have a break from the party by going out hiking again.
The big match has begone and all the teens are in front of the TV. Rebecka takes it a bit more literally than the rest.
"Uhh no, she's busy. Gazing stars, I think."
The game is over and luckily, the team the teens liked the most won. Woop woop!
While Carla and Dora call it a night early...
Nora gains a skill point in charisma.
After this achievement she hits the hay - just like Dave joined Carla.
Only up is Keith who has hit the cook books.
By the time he decided to go to bed, he has reached level 5 in cooking already.
Nora, meanwhile, got up again, because her baby belly starts showing!
The next morning other people start noticing a change as well...
"Morning, see anything different about me?"
"NORA, are you copying MY PJs?! Get your own!"
With the carpool and the school bus showing up again on Tuesday...
... it means everyone but the expecting parents are away from home.
Keith feels Nora's tummy for their child's first kicks.
After that, Nora decides she want to catch up with some of the folks she met in Takemizu.
While Keith takes care of some household chores, Nora manages to make a new foreign friend.
This time Keith opens up the mailbox. Sadly he only finds bills in there.
Then it was time for Dora to come home from school - and she brought along that girl who also hung out at the Monty-Ottomas family!
"Ah yes, she's at home."
While Keith hit the cook books again, Dora made friends with her classmate Sandy Kosmokos.
Nora meanwhile felt like building up ANY skill point.... so I decided to try creativity again.
Another chapter of skillbuilding begins with Keith...
... and Nora.
While his in-laws return from their job, Keith has to get ready for work. Hopefully he can recover from missing last time.
The in-laws decided to go out and stretch their legs first, however.
With Keith off to work as well, Dora decided to get out, too.
Maybe she can meet some cool folks at Globe Street?
There's Thomas Ottomas.
There's a nice cashier.
And there's the not-so-nice Carla Monty and Pamela Landry.
Dang another feud is in the making I see...
At least Oberon Summerdream managed to break it up by turning into a Werewolf.
Wait, Carla showed up with ANTONIO? And Nora tagged along?
Time to get back home. Carla got more body skill on her way...
... while Dave found a nice bug there.
While Nora's novel takes shape, Dora gets the well-known grow-up alerts.
Dora would much rather focus on getting fit however. You can't become fit by just idling around.
Afterwards she takes a cold shower to cool down... but a tad bit too much as she got a COLD from that.
Keith then returns - with a promotion! Looks like he's on his way to become a good provider for the family.
While everyone hits the hay...
Keith unclogs the toilet, which actually gives him another skill point for mechanical.
He also got another cleaning skill point from cleaning up the mess after Dora spent her dear time in the bathroom.
With everyone to bed, it only takes a good night's rest for Dora to get healthy again.
The next morning...
... everyone got up for their business.
For the older and youngest it meant work, school and walkies...
... while Dora and Keith enjoyed a movie together.
"Ooh what if Aurora could do mime?"
The people officially leave...
... and-- wait, Dave never met Bottom? Y'know, his daughter's girlfriend???
Keith decided he wanted pancakes. The fridge was empty however. What's an upcoming father to do?
Go to the grocery store of course!
Just a quick purchase later...
... and Keith is back home... But lost his craving for pancakes in the process. Oh well.
While Dave...
... invests in a new bug box...
... his daughter and son-in-law hit the books once more. This time to study Anger Management iirc.
Luckily Dora got home from school so we can see what she's up to while her sister's busy.
Dora plays with the cat...
.. followed by a conversation with that cashier she met earlier.
Then Dave and Carla got home already.
Dora decides to hog the television to train a bit more, right when Nora and Keith decide to put away their books.
While Dora is busy getting in shape, she becomes eligible to grow up into an adult straight-up. But, because this is the final day of the round, I want to wait til the next round to give her another chance to get the want for college.
The evening passes by quickly, with Carla and Nora going to bed early, Dave tending the garden, Dora showering herself after that workout and Keith watching a movie.
After the garden is all tidy again, Dave decides to hit the ha-- NOT THAT HAY, DAVE! You got your own bed. Sheesh!
The bed spot next to Nora is filled by Keith, both of them eagerly anticipating the birth of their first child...
Though by the time the sun rose again, it was autumn already. And with Dora waking up at 6am it is time to end this family on a cliffhanger and move on to the next family first: the Ryan-Lillard couple in fact!
To be continued
