Zuimelhof Family
Previously at the Zuimelhof Family: Nora and Keith finally got married! And after their honeymoon Nora quickly got pregnant, too, while Keith had a promising start in the Culinary career.
To start things off, I also gave the Zuimelhofs their traits.
Carla - Brave, Genius, Kleptomaniac, Natural Cook, Vegetarian
Dave - Absent-Minded, Angler, Cat Person, Loves Outdoors, Unflirty
Nora - Genius, Light Sleeper, Natural Cook, Neurotic, Nurturing
Keith - Charismatic, Childish, Easily Impressed, Family-Oriented, Good Sense of Humour
Dora - Charismatic, Couch Potato, Hates Outdoors, Party Animal
Aaaand we're back in action - Nora just crawled out of bed and immediately starts giving birth!
... to twins!...
At least there are 4 grown ups and a teen in this house...
"Uhh Keith, a little help please?"
"Oh sorry was just checking my mail."
And here's the second one!
You know what, I have a theme for the kids: let's remix Nora and Keith's names together!
The new parents with their newborn babies!
They do need a nursery of their own, however. Sorry Dora, you got the want to go to college anyways.
"Hey dad you should get into fitness I think."
With the carpool and school bus arriving though...
... it's up to Nora and Keith to take care of the house and the babies.
Despite that, Nora does find the time to play with the kitty cat though.
Sadly the diapers had to be changed soon...
Welcome back home, Dora!
While Keith enjoys the toys a little too much...
... Dora decides to pick up the phone...
... realise that she's ineligible for scholarships...
... and says her goodbyes to her parents' house.
We'll play you again at the end of the round!
Paying the bills is not her concern right now anyways.
With the babies sleeping and Nora's parents out walking/jogging, Nora and Keith have a bit of quality time - but not for long, as the babies are about to become toddlers.
The jog got Carla officially FIT!
Time to grow up the babies!
First is Kora...

Now it's Keith's turn with Nate
Looks a bit more like Keith...
... but those brows are DEFINITELY Nora's.
Time to never have to do their diapers ever again.
Might as well give them different hair styles.
Never used this on a toddler before, now that I think of it.
After feeding the young ones...
It's time for bed! I also rolled for their traits and well...
BOTH got the exact same traits! Easily Impressed from Keith and Light Sleeper from Nora.
Sleep well!
And you.. uh...
... sleep well too!
... which isn't easy when you're a light sleeper and you got two kids in the next room.
D'awww they're hugging.
Keith takes care of the toddles for now...
Luckily there's backup on the way!
While Carla and Dave help out with the kids...
Nora's stomach was upset once more. Welp.
... and again...
... aaaand there goes another meal.
Nora REALLY needs a bit of rest after all that.
If only...
"Mum you're blocking the TV!"
While Carla and Dave take in their paid leave...
... Keith is about to leave for work, missing out on a call from his friend David Ottomas.
At least Nora gets to catch up with Mercutio.
She follows this by going to bed early, so that she may be able to cover the night shift.
Keith also just got home from work, with a nice promotion in his pocket!
While Carla is taking care of the toddlers again...
... Nora got up, ready to vomit...
... while Carla taught Kora how to walk!
Nora tries to teach Nate the same, while Keith puts Kora on the potty.
Nora's training session got interrupted however with a baby bump!
Followed by another barfing session...
At least she finished teaching Nate to walk after those obstacles.
Time for a well-deserved rest.
Dave, it's your turn today!
While he takes Nate for a bath...
... Kora finds her way in the toy box!
Dave manages to potty train Nate...
... and soon Nora does the same for Kora. No more dirty diapers for now!
While Keith is at work, he finds himself in another tough situation!
He manages the affair with class and soon...
He's back home!
Juuuuuust in time for his new carpool to arrive.....
Poor Nora has to handle the kids all by herself again.
Luckily it's time for their afternoon nap, which gives Nora the opportunity to get some rest too.
Carla meanwhile does some more training in front of the TV - she lost her good physique again and is eager to gain it back.
No David, Keith is at work.
No Dave, that is NOT how you put back a phone.
It doesn't take long for the thing to ring again and luckily, it's Peter for Dave!
This gives Carla more time to max out her body skill!
The bliss only lasts for so long however - the toddlers are waking up again...
Welcome back home Keith! He's zooming through his career!
Not only that, but he also manages to teach both Kora...
... and Nate how to talk!
After Kora's little nap, Nora is quick to take her out of the crib...
... and feed the young ones their food, while getting the final baby bump herself!
The night passes by with Nora watching some night time cooking reruns while her offspring learns a bit with their toys.
After sunrise Keith is quick to join, making for a wholesome family moment, just before Keith is off to work once more.
Carla and Dave take this opportunity to go out on a jog and walk respectively.
Carla got back with her body in a fit shape once again.
Dave meanwhile, got back with bees.
Keith meanwhile got another chance card!
He chose wisely and reaps some nice rewards...
... before coming back home with another promotion! He's climbed from level 3 all the way up to level 7 in just this autumn!
Keith and Nora enjoy some lunch together while Nora's parents try to teach Kora and Nate a children's song.
Update: they didn't succeed with the song before 6pm.
So let's just invite over some friends and family...
... and then blow out the candles together.
First is Kora's turn...

Then it's time for Nate to grow up!
It seems like only 3 days ago since they were born and now they're at primary school age already!
Kora grew up to have Keith's Good Sense of Humour and also have turquoise as her favourite colour...
... while Nate prefers red and has found an appreciation for those little fluffballs that vibe around the house where grandpa Zuimelhof seems to have a fondness for.
With a new age it's also time to turn the nursery into a children's room!
Good night in your new beds Kora and Nate!
The party mostly revolved around the festivities themselves with no funky events, and therefore was a success!
Time to get the rest of the family to bed as well. We need all the rest we can get...
... because once Nora is waking up...
... it's time to assign new Aspiration Benefit Points!
There's Keith, who still had all of his points unused...

With the time set to 5.30am I think we're about to end this post with the same event that started it, Nora giving birth! Talk about bookends.

Thank god, it's just 1 this time.
Considering Winter began during the birth and it also started snowing, I'm thinking of the name North!
Nor- from Nora, -th from Keith and together they reference the season!
Normally I would end the post right here... but with a new family member we may need to change things up a little... so uhh, you thinking what I'm thinking?...

Carla and Dave's bedroom FINALLY got that upgrade it really needed, although half of it was sacrificed to make for an additional bedroom. The old bathroom next to Nora's bedroom got converted into a new nursery, while some of the walkway space was sacrificed to make room for a new bathroom.
Downstairs the dining area was redone, and the empty half of the living room was made into an office room, which potentially can be turned into an emergency bedroom if the house gets filled with more Sims. Some nooks here need a bit more love, but overall good progress has been made.
Capacity-wise it's practically rivalling Capp Manor and Monty Ranch by now.
But how will the Zuimelhofjes live their lives in the new place?
